LAMISIL cream is suitable for use in fungal skin diseases such as athlete's foot, inguinal fungus or ringworm. Fungal skin diseases are often accompanied by redness, scaling and itching and tend to occur in moist and warm skin areas such as skin folds or in the spaces between the toes. The active ingredient Lamisil contained in LAMISIL cream specifically combats the fungal infection, thus alleviating the symptoms and caring for the irritated skin. In addition, LAMISIL cream protects against new fungal skin infections in the corresponding area for up to 3 months.
The cream is applied to the corresponding skin area for 1x daily for 7 days in case of fungal skin infections in the area between the toes.

How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Then massage the medicine in gently. Clean the affected area(s) beforehand. Cover weeping, highly red areas of the body with gauze at night. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. Avoid accidental contact with the eyes.
Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease.
Overdose?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdose symptoms are known. If large quantities are accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. Nausea, abdominal pain and dizziness may occur.
Have you forgotten to use it?
Continue the application as normal (i.e. not with double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient damages the outer envelope, the so-called cell membrane of fungi. This envelope thus loses some of its functions, e.g. it becomes more impermeable to nutrients - the cell starves. Depending on the concentration of the active ingredient, the fungi are inhibited in their growth and reproduction or they die directly due to additional damage to the cell interior. The active ingredient accumulates in the skin, hair and nails and develops its full effect there.
